When you come to Kyoto,
It feels like Tokyo in reverse.
You're greeted with modernity.
That is steeped in tradition.
Whether day or night
Wandering the streets you're hooked on books
or amazed at the architecture
You'd stop to admire the flowers
The consistency of the wood
And the bags
It moves
Yet appears to stand still in time
It's traditional,
Yet continues to reinvent itself.
