Beijing, China: Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden Palace and The Temple of Heaven

I covered Beijing's two main draws in one day - The Forbidden Palace (The nearby Tiananmen Square) and The Temple of Heaven. Both are sprawling huge, with the Palace having SO many people (from different parts of China) and the Temple being a more peaceful park (with lots of wBalking involved).

Beijing lao bing kua, yi ge yi kuai - Beijing Old Ice Popsicles, One for One Dollar - perfect for the hot (and immensely dusty) day
